Good morning! Praise the Lord…please keep my brother andmyself in prayer as we are traveling today to see our father in Denver! We knowthat God will keep us safe yet prayers are always awesome and welcomed!

Today’s scripture is:

Proverbs 10:14-32

¹⁴Wise men lay up knowledge: butthe mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

¹⁵The rich man's wealth is hisstrong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.

¹⁶The labour of the righteoustendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.

Proverbs 2:3-7 (KJV) - Yea,if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; ifthou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; thenshalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. Forthe LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Helayeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walkuprightly.

Proverbs 2:3-7 (NLT) - Cry out for insight, andask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seekthem like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it meansto fear the LORD, and you will gain knowledge of God. Forthe LORD grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Hegrants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to thosewho walk with integrity.

Good morning to you…I could end the Good morning with thosescriptures for they are so full wisdom….the wisdom of the Lord will confuse thewise and open the eyes of the unknowing. I love how God’s words are revealed tothose with an open heart to understand His word.

I have to use a friend as an example and I know he reads theGood Morning emails but I just have to say this….

Our dear brother in Christ, who has on occasion provided us withsome beautiful pictures from California for the Good Morning messages has shownme some things just in his postings on Facebook.

It does not take much to share the wisdom of the Lord withothers even when they do not agree with you. I have seen on FB the many timeshe stands up for what is right and still show love to the person who says theyknow Jesus but truly confused in what God is really about…this takes the wisdomand the love of God to do so.

Many times we face people who are not going to agree withus, or have a twisted perspective of the word and need to have a gentlereminder of what the word truly says, yet when we do this we have to understandthat it is HIS knowledge that He has given to us and that we are blessed tounderstand it.

As I have countless times read what our brother writes toothers about their postings, it has always been in love although almost all thetime he gets attacked by the person, which to me is a sure sign of someone missingthe love of Christ just a tad….yet our brother continues to give the word inand out of season in love despite the rebukes that he gets…let us all live ourlives in that matter.

My husband told me the other day…He will live and die Christand this is what we need to do and in having the true understanding andknowledge of Christ we will do just that.

God bless to all of you and Brother Scott – know that it hasbeen seen what you are doing and I know that Jesus is pleased with yourstanding up for Him and I am too! Luv you to life my brother in Christ!! Keeppressing forward in Jesus!

Laughing...heard in my head - Iam in love with Jesus - then heard "then act like it" LOL Thank youLord - what I am facing is nothing compared to what Jesus faced when He went tothe cross!! Thank you Lord for the reminder!!!

Yes these aremy Facebook updates from yesterday…yesterday was the weirdest day in a longtime. It was if I was walking around in a fog – ready to say good bye to tryingto live right and all that…no real reason. It was not like I prayed for stuffand it did not happen, actually it was the total opposite but for some strangereason I had the ‘who cares’ attitude yesterday about everything.

Yet after justsaying to God I have no idea what I am doing, what is going on with me, what isthis stuff…hearing to him say “act like it” after I just fussed a bit – then tojust praise Him for 5 minutes and my entire mood changed – of course for thebetter…

It truly is howwe look at life that makes the difference….look to Jesus for the best possibleoutcome to what is going on in your world.

02/29/12 – Honesty Today – Being Different . . .

I have to keeptelling myself everyone was not raised like me . . .

Itis amazing how things are when we live a life that is unlike others. I wastalking with my father and noticing the difference of being raised in a house withhim as a father and being raised by my mother.

Ilistened as he told me different things about my sisters that I know would havenever worked in our home, I listened as he was asking me questions aboutdifferent stuff, and thinking to myself – no wonder you and mom got divorced.(Smile)

Yetthen I get online and started doing some stuff I started noticing that I amstill different that Jesus is grooming me to be different still, that what mymother taught me was preparing me to live a life of being different fromeveryone else.

Jesus wants us to be different from the world,we are not to look like the world, we are not to act like the world, and weshould not even have a hint of the smell of the world on us. It is amazing howmany of us are walking and the first thing we say is ‘well they are not thereyet’ – no Jesus is not done with any of us but we need to first acknowledgewhat is the world and what is of Him.

Toomany of us do not know what it is like being different and point fingers atthose that are different saying that they are going overboard with Jesus. . . Iknow this because I used to do that very thing…thinking people were nuts butwhat I am learning is that Jesus’ is different.

WhenHe walked this earth He was different from all that came before Him with a wordfrom the Lord, He was different in how He treated others, how He reacted tomistreatment and how He loved everyone despite all that came at Him. I amthankful that I am different, I am uniquely made in Jesus and I shall continueto strive to be different just like Jesus!!

Good morning and praise the Lord! WOW – it is funny writing2/29 – what a blessing – this year we have 366 days to live…what are you doing withyour extra day of the month? Make it count…

Ephesians 4:15 (NLT) - Instead, we willspeak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who isthe head of his body, the church.

I remember the scene in Titanic where the poor guys schoolsthe rich people on life and making each day count. We are giving such anopportunity to live a wonderful, productive, holy, and abundantly life inChrist – IF we choose to take that path.

Many times it is how we view things that make the difference;it is how we see things and how we allow them to deal with us. We are givenlessons in life by how we handle the things that we have on our plate to eat,whether we eat it slow and easy or fast and quick will determine how it isdigested and how our body handles it…life lessons are the same way.

As you walk through life – focus on who God truly is andknow that in all things He will show you what to do and how to deal with it.

How awesome is the Lord God Almighty that we serve….He lovesYOU!! Christ paid it all for YOU!

Praise the Lord for His is worthy – Good Morning to you! Howare you this morning? I pray that all is well with you and that Jesus is trulythe head of your life….

Matthew 22:37-38 (KJV) - 37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love theLord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and greatcommandment.

I have heard that loving God with all that we are is easy tosay, but sometimes so hard to do because of our flesh. I was told that none ofus love Him at ALL times with all that we have.

What I think they meant is thatpeople who love Him with all their heart, never ever think of themselves. But itis in our nature to think about ourselves at some point in the day, even if itis just to figure out what we will eat…but does that mean we do not love Him .. . well I do not believe so…I believe that it is our actions that show that welove Him. What we do in a bad situation, what we do when we are tempted, whatwe do when someone is in need…

All these things are ways to show Him that you love Him,what is truly in your heart comes out in actions, words and how we carryourselves. It is a blessing to know that in all of this, Jesus reigns and shallcontinue to mold us into the children of God that we are created to be….

As you go through your day, remember that your actions,words and conduct show if you love Jesus or not...remember this today!

02/24/12 – Good Morning…

Praise the Lord and Good Morning to you! What a mightyblessing it is to be alive and walking in Jesus today! First wanted to thankall of you for the prayers for my family, my father came through surgery andwas awake same day, doing well also. I love how Jesus just does what He doesbetter than we ever thought … people all over the US and even in othercountries was praying for my father! God is good! My brother and I aretraveling on the 3^rd of March (Lord willing) to go visit with himand for that I am thankful!! God is able!!!

It is a blessing to know Jesus and to know that no matterwhat comes our way, He has it handled, whether it is a sick parent, a way-wardchild, finances, relationships, jobs, whatever it is – Jesus will work it outfor our good as long as we love Him as we are the called according to Hispurpose! It is a blessing to know Jesus and to trust in Him.

As we move forward in our day, remember to take time to stopand pray. Don’t sit around arguing with people about the word of the Lord oreven allow those that want to press you upset you. We are greatly blessed inJesus and if we know the true word of the Lord – preach it in and out of season– giving the word of the Lord for people to rightly divide…

II Timothy 2:11-16 (KJV) - ¹¹It is afaithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: ¹²Ifwe suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: ¹³Ifwe believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. ¹⁴Ofthese things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that theystrive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. ¹⁵Studyto shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,rightly dividing the word of truth. ¹⁶But shun profaneand vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Praise the Lord…Good Morning to you!

Psalm 116:1-9(KJV) - ¹I love the LORD, because he hath heard myvoice and my supplications. ²Because he hath inclinedhis ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. ³Thesorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I foundtrouble and sorrow. ⁴Then called I upon the name of theLORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. ⁵Graciousis the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. ⁶TheLORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. ⁷Returnunto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. ⁸Forthou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet fromfalling. ⁹I will walk before the LORD in the land of theliving.

I love how the Lord will work things out for us and bring usto a place of peace during our times of struggle and faced with adversity inthis life. It is truly when we call on the name of Jesus and trust in Christthat we will be joyous in a time of pain and hurt.

We cannot give up, we must continue to press on and call onthe Lord with all our heart, soul and mind…let me share a testimony . . .

My father and mother split up when I was little as I was 2years old and my brother was a baby. We grew up not really knowing him, andwhen we finally did connect with him, he was weird to us. He was not what weexpected as most kids fantazie about their dad and who his is when they do notknow him. Yet with me being whom I am, I just accepted who he was and startedtrying to build a relationship with him. Things did not always go well, and fora while there I just let things drop down.

My mother passed away and this began to get me toremembering that although he was around I still did not have a greatrelationship with him and began to work on building a relationship with him. Mybrother on the other hand said forget it after things did not go too well with them,to the point of not speaking to him for several years, even now still he hasnot spoken to him…at least 8 years.

My father is having surgery today at 10 AM (Mountain Time)to relieve the pressure from his brain due to the seizures that he is havingwith the brain tumors he has. (My father has cancer of the lungs and brain)They can not do the operation on the brain tumors and the chemotherapy is nolonger effective. So to relieve some of the stress they are going to releasesome of the pressure on his brain, which is releasing some fluids.

I wanted to post on Facebook about prayer for my father butwanted my brother to hear it from me before posting on Facebook as a respectfulthing, as I know how my brother feels about our father. Just before I calledhim, I remembered that maybe the conversation that I had with him on Valentine’sDay would take hold of him when I call. (I told him how I felt about his feelingstowards our father and why he needed healing in this area). As I dialed thenumber, I was praying that he would answer and be respectable about what I wasabout to say, as I was not in the mood to defend our dying father to hisstubborn son. (Yes I was thinking this)

As I explain things to my brother, he thanked me and I saidto him that I was going to try and go see him sooner than I had planned…he saysto me – sis when you going – I am going with you! I was about to fall out ofthe chair – are you serious? Yes I am going with you. Ok, bro shall get backwith you after I talk to hubby. I hung up and of course the first thought waspraise and the second thought was – wait he is just going to support you anddon’t want you to go alone. You know how yall were raised…

Until 3 hours later as I was scanning Facebook, I saw a postright after I called him requesting prayer for our father AND saying thatalthough they do not see eye to eye, that he was his father and he loved him….PRAISEJESUS!! I was so beside myself – jumping up and down!! I know that all myfather wants is to see us, he wants us to come and he would love to know thatWalt was coming.

I call him back (my father) and tell him that he must reallyrank because I was not coming by myself that my brother is coming too…he wantedto know what miracle I did to get that to happen…I told him that the miraclewas prayer and that God can and will do anything. When I hung up with myfather, I could hear the smile on his voice – the first smile all day I heardin him – he was excited as though he had something extra to live for!

I am thankful for that blessing that God has given me theopportunity to see and my prayer is that all goes well today in his surgery asmy heart desire is that before the Lord calls my father home, that my brothergets a chance to see him and come to an acceptance of who our father is andhave peace in his heart about the entire relationship. Please join me in thisprayer. I am thankful that God continues to show me that even though sometimesit seems like we are praying and nothing is happening – He is still speaking tothe hearts of those that we think will never change and the most wonderfulthing begins to take hold of them – the love and change in Jesus!

It is awesome and so sorry for such a long writing today butI had to share with you the blessings that come from diligent prayer andtrusting of Jesus despite what you see before you!!!

02/21/12 – Battle of the Bulge - Part Twenty - Reality

The reality of it all!

Praise the Lord for His mightyblessings and what He is pouring into me. I am really starting to understandwhat obesity is doing in me. It is amazing to me that I have survived thislife. It is amazing to me that I have come this far. The Lord brought me to theunderstanding of what I am doing in this body…the healing of the pain,overcoming the addictions I have had, along with coming down in the weight.

It has been brought to my attention that I am going to haveto make sure that I write this book, there are a lot of hurting obese peoplewho are afraid of facing whom they are – their past life, whom they can be andeven trying to come out of the bulge.

It is not an easy path to take…it is not easy by any means –it is a battle – it is a change and it is for most of us going to be the fightof your life BUT this is what we need to do to save ourselves . . .

I am praying for all that struggle with this battle but whatI want to say is that you are not alone – you can overcome this and if you needhelp please do not hesitate to contact me…if I can do it – you can too!!

I have putting in this posting pictures of me and thechanges that God has blessed me to see and I am not done yet…I did not havesurgery, I do not have to take pills – but I have been praying, fasting,changing my eating habits and trusting the Lord in what I need to do. You cando it…you really can!!!

(By the way thereis nothing wrong with surgery – it works well for some but due to my own healthissues surgery was not an option!)

I went thus far from a size 30 to a size 22 in a year - still have about 95 pounds to go and to head down to a size 12 at least...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!! Praise the Lord and Good Morning to you! It is a blessing toserve the Lord!!

Jeremiah29:11-13 (KJV) - For I know the thoughts that I thinktoward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you anexpected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, andI will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shallsearch for me with all your heart.

It is a wonderful thought to know that our lives are meantfor good, even in all the tragedy in the world. He has a plan for our lives –meant for good.

All He has for us is good, yet are we willing to accept it,are we willing to open our hearts to His direction? When we open our hearts toJesus not only will our lives be better but our path in life will be good. Asgood God is – we still have to do what His word is calling us to do.

It is easy to ask the Lord to bless our lives, but we mustbe willing to follow His will for our lives to receive the fullness of Hisblessings…as you walk through today, look at your life and see if you arewalking in His ways as He sees fit for you.

Many times we are stressed and overworked because we aredoing things in our own will and not in His will…slow down and take the time toenjoy your life in Christ – if you are crazy and hectic – something is wrong…Jesuscalled us to a life of good in Him and crazy, stressed and hectic is not fromthe Lord!!

Let us walk in the goodness of Jesus and enjoy this life….

Good Morning – Good Morning –Good Morning! Praise the Lord and welcome to a new day!

As I welcome in another year oflife for me, I started thinking about the best birth ever…the birth of JesusChrist…not only His birth but His death and His awesome and oh so powerfulResurrection!!

Due to what He has done for us –we can have new birth in Him, a new life and a completely different outlook onlife and guess what – we can have it EVERY single day of our lives!! Howawesome is that!?? It is wonderful to know that He did all that He did just forYOU!!!

It amazes me when I look over mylife and see how much more things have changed since I committed my entire lifeto Him. How about you? Have you felt a change in your life – a new birth of Christeach morning when you awake?? If not, why not? It is awesome to walk in Hisnewness and walk in a new you each day.

There is always something toturn over to Jesus, there is always room for improvement and there is always anopportunity for a new birth of something from you…rejoice in the Lord always –again I say rejoice when He gave you a new life in Him – He gave it to you forALL eternity!!

Praise the Lord for His mightyblessings. I thank Him today for allowing me to see another birthday and soglad to say that I am now 44 years old…I am thankful to say that I have made itto another year older, wiser and more in love with Jesus than I have ever been…thankyou Jesus for saving me, changing me and continually molding me into the womanthat YOU have always know that I could be and never giving up on me until Iam!!!

Ephesians 4:26-27 (KJV) - Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.

Good morning! Praise the Lord for He is worthy to be praise. It is amazing to see that God is moving so great in His people…do not look at things in the negative, even when bad things happen there is goodness of the Lord in it somewhere; it just depends on how we look at it.

My son has a lot of anger in him, due to not being able to express himself. I am grateful to the Lord because Jesus allows me to know what is going on with him because I have been there.During a recent defusing session with my son who was very angry at me but not wanting to tell me this, my husband reminded him that anger leads to wrath and wrath leads to murder.

As soon as he said this, I thought of this scripture and went to find it. Although our son is struggling in believing in God, I know that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood - so I spoke the word to him.We have to be very careful about anger and allowing it to control us.

When we have a lot of anger issues, a lot of times we blame everyone else for our issues when in fact we are the issue ourselves. We have to make sure we are living a life that we allow the Lord to speak to our hearts and make things better in Him. He can and will change your heart if you allow Him by following His direction and His love for your life!!

02/15/12 - Good Morning - Forgiveness is Key

Praise the Lord and Good Morning to you! It is ablessing to be in the land of the living. I am truly enjoying life! How aboutyou?

It is truly amazing how just our very outlook onlife can change how we perceive things. It is a blessing to know the Lord andknow who He is for our self. I cannot help but think of all the mighty thingsthat He has done in my life and blessed me to come out of.

When we take the time to look over our lives –we will see that His blessings and direction in our lives were always there.

Forgiveness is a big part of happiness.Yesterday my brother came to see me. I love him to pieces, I do not alwaysunderstand why he does what he does or any of that but he is my brother. We donot play favorites in our family, but there is a bond between us that is notthere with my other siblings. I have always attributed it to the fact that weare close in age, we are from the same parents and the first set of kids for mymom. (There is 6 years difference between my sisters and I that is why I sayfirst set)

As we were talking, the Lord allowed me to speakto him about our father, whom he does not talk to but it was a blessing to talkwith him as I talked about my forgiveness of our father and our step father. IKNOW he was more impressed with the forgiveness of our step father than ourfather, as he knows that my step father sexually abused me for ten years. Hewas more surprised when I said I forgave him and I did so because of my ownhealing. I forgave my step father after he died and I did not have a chance toeven talk to him about things. (He was very much around the family still due tothe fact that he is the father of my sisters)

It takes a lot sometimes to forgive people butwhat God makes clear is that forgiveness is needed – He has forgiven us plentyof times for even things we were not aware that we did. Yet we hold grudgesforever and never let things go…it is not what God calls for us. Unforgivenesscan bring on a lot of health issues and it can keep you in bondage. The freedomthat comes from allowing yourself to forgive is awesome.

I had a woman once post on WL4J when I said thatwe need to forgive, how can she forgive a pedophile and I told her it was noteasy but I did it and it is necessary for us to forgive so that we are forgivenand so that we are free…

We must remember His words on forgiveness:

Colossians 3:13 (NLT) - Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgiveanyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgiveothers.

Luke 6:37 (NLT) - “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Donot condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, andyou will be forgiven.

Remember forgiveness blesses you.

This sounds really in this language but does anything make sense toyou…maybe if I shed the word of God on this . . .

2 Corinthians 6:14-15(KJV) - Be ye notunequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hathrighteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light withdarkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he thatbelieveth with an infidel?

IITimothy 3:5 (KJV) - Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from suchturn away.

Most of us knowthat the word calls for one world order, it is in Daniel and Revelations I amsure of, I am also believing although not 100% sure that it is referred to inEzekiel, but there is so much in the bible about it, along with the fact thatit is mostly spoken symbolically too, so I will not go into detail in that partbelieving that we all know that it is coming. (If not send me an email and we can discuss more).

We can see the signsof it not only in this group’s website but other top members of differentfaiths coming together and talking about one world religion respect. (Google itfor recent events…there have been some in the last two years – yes last twoyears). We are moving forward and most Christians are unaware, but you need toarm yourself not only with the word but what is going on in the world. Thestreamline media is not going to tell you and unless you know what they aretalking about, you might miss it.

I am not an Obamabasher by any means but he is in office for a reason. No I do not believe he isthe anti-christ by any means, but I do believe he is being used for theanti-christs agenda. He has given more leeway for the homosexual agenda thanany other president and I am not talking about the right to walk down thestreet and hold hands without getting beat up – anyone deserves that right butas Christians we need to understand what all of this is doing.

Now most of youknow I am old school strictly by the bible and I am sure I will lose some ofyou over this BUT the word is the word regardless of whether or not we believeit. Sin is sin and we are not supposed to co-exist with other religions. TheIsraelites tried that and almost but destroyed them every time they tried it.We have the Old Testament as lessons as to why we should not live inco-existence with any religion.

It is not easy tounderstand this but we need to understand it by all means – we must understandthat JESUS is the only way to God and the ONLY WAY to live this life. We arenot to line up with other religions and it is truly against God when we dothese things. We know that things are going to get worse for the body ofChrist, we are up against battles and line have been drawn even in theChristian community. It is clear that many Christians support abortion, birthcontrol, same-sex marriages and even suicide (to name a few)…but yet what doesthe word of the Lord say…and no I am not even going to entertain the thoughtthat if it does not say do not commit suicide that it is alright…it says thoushall not kill…enough said there – so that covers abortion, suicide, and birthcontrol.

We need to armourselves with the REAL word of God not what our emotions say, not what our ownthoughts say and not even what our personal interpretations are, this willalways lead us down the wrong path. Seek the direction of Jesus and HIS VOICEand know His voice for what He is saying. It is not always easy being aChristian because even Christians will come up against you but know this…Jesusis real and He will keep you real if you allow Him to do so.

Yes I know I haveupset some of you if you even finished reading this but know this – the truthis the truth and it is all in the word of the Lord, now the question is are youready to accept the word of God for what it is – the word of God!?

Word from the Founder

Praise the Lord…may this writing find you still walking inthe Lord and not deleting my emails. (Smile) It is a blessing to know that inall things Jesus will work things out. This scripture was brought to myattention this week and I wanted to share it with you – it is not unfamiliar tomost of us:

So shall they fearthe name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun.When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift upa standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19)

TheLord has been reminding me that I am going to go through, I am going to feelrejection, I am going to feel like no one cares, I am going to fight battlesthat I have never fought before, I am going to be in the fight of my life andthere is nothing wrong with it, that I should expect it because I am truly Hischild trying to live for Him.

Healso reminded me that satan does not care about me, all he cares about is beinggod, all he wants is to sit in heaven with all power unto him. He is not smart,he is not wise, but he is a liar, cunning, a thief and truly a punk. He willnot reign in hell when he goes and he really does not believe he is going. Itreally amazes me that people say that satan is going to rule in hell, and whenthey say that it makes me truly pray for them because I know they have not readthe bible with understanding. Satan actually has no power at all, but due tohis own deception and trickery, he believes he can get God’s kingdom for hisown.

Whatwe face daily is not by chance, it is allowed so that we will come closer tothe Lord, although satan believe it is to trip us up and not serve God for if hecan get the entire world to serve their own desires and beliefs then who willserve God – not enough to do battle with him at Armageddon. It is clear whenyou read the word that satan is clueless, that he has no real understanding ofhis doom, and if he does have this understanding then he is the dumbestcreature ever created. The world is not getting worse because of satan, theworld is getting worse because of man, the Lord is trying so hard to speak tous but we do not listen. He tries to get us to raise that standard of the wordin us but we totally ignore Him and do what we want. This can lead us away fromthe Lord!

Whenwe ignore the Lord and what He has given us (the Bible) and do not allow Him tostand with us when the floods come in, we will find that we are washed awayback into doing the things that we once did and swore we would never do. Sometimes that flood is a flash flood washing us back into smoking, drinking,sexing, cheating, lying or whatever sin is convenient at that moment. But inmost cases it is a slow rising flood that we can see the water rising, havetime to get out of the water and to the high ground as Jesus will give us hindsfeet, but we choose not to walk out of the flood because we think we can handleit. Any time you think you can handle the issues and problems in your lifewithout Jesus, you are asking for trouble. You are asking for some things to gocompletely wrong in your life and have no one to blame but yourself.

Whenyou are given an assignment in the Lord, I personally do not believe that satanknows your assignment but sees your walk. Since he is not God and cannot be everywhere,one of those spirits that normally torment you and you are no longer open tothat spirit’s tormenting, goes and reports to him what is going on. He sendsmore to you, yes more come to break you down and when you resist again, herecomes a bunch more and he keeps doing this until they see signs of youbreaking. Yet God will raise up a standard of His word in you and you cansubmit to the Lord and satan will have to flee.

Thishappened to me this week. I could not figure out why all this mess washappening to me, and the Lord reminded me that what I am to do. I did it and Icame out of the flood that was rising around me, I thought I could handle therising waters but as the water began to get around my neck, I began to panicwhen the Lord said – I have been here all the time and yet you did not reachout to me.

Weare given the word for a reason, we are given prayer for a reason, we are givenfriends in Christ for a reason, and we cannot allow the tricks of the enemy to sendus places that we do not belong. I thank the Lord for a saved man of God for ahusband, who will pray for me, pull things off of me in the spirit, whounderstands that Jesus always comes first and supports me in all that I do. Iam truly a blessed woman to have a man such as him, and I am thankful that Godcontinues to speak to me.

Toall my sisters who still suffer from depression and things of that nature, mosttimes we know our triggers and what brings us to the point of depression. Yourrepeated actions unfortunately allow satan to know this too, but we have Jesusand He can and will bring you out of it, yet we have to want it and fightagainst it with all that we have.

Itis not always easy to live a life with those kind of issues, but God can andwill release you from it and you can have a life full of love, life and joy inJesus and one of the most important things is peace…He can give it all to you.We have to know the tricks that set us back to those places. I am thankful toknow mine and to know what to do when they hit me.

Iwill praise those things off of me, I will pray them off of me and I have onoccasion fast them off of me, and I will call on my husband to join me. It isimportant that we know how to release ourselves from these things and to knowthat some of us have situations that cause for medication, do not be afraid ofit – pray about it and seek the council of Jesus and know that He will work therest out. I believe that God can work it all out for you; it is all insubmitting to Him and trusting in Him. If you think about it, most things inthis life are out of our control, and it is meant that way for a reason…we haveto trust Jesus above all other things and know that He will work things out forus.

Praise the Lord for His mighty acts of love and understanding forus. Good morning to you and I pray this email finds you full of His love andmoving towards showing others how much He loves them by giving a piece of youto them by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ or words of encouragementgenerated by the Holy Spirit.

Do not let the world and those walking in sin confuse you…the wordsays not to judge people but there is a righteous judgment that we are supposedto give…it is all based in the way we do it that makes the difference.

If you can get the understanding of knowing how to speak, when tospeak and what to say when you speak…things will be so much better for you…meditateon the word today and allow it to speak to your heart and bring you direction.

Praise the Lord – Good Morning to you! It is a blessing tobe in the Lord and to know that He is with us always…

The blessings of the Lord will flow from Him to you, yet wehave to make sure we are lined up with His will to receive all the blessingsthat He has for us and to reach our full potential in Christ. He will bring usto the right place in Him, but we have to be willing to reach this potential byfollowing His will.

Yesterday as I was thinking on things the Lord spoke this tome:

Don't letdisappointment fester in you; allow it to fuel you to try something different!

It started to hit me that most of us have a hard timerecovering from disappointment, we allow the disappointment to fester inside ofus and bring us to a point of doubt and hurt. We allow it to make us think wecannot accomplish things or worthy of good things but God has saiddifferently…God has said that disappointment is not meant to hurt us but tohave us slow down and seek Him instead of following our own will.

His word is true:

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thyown understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thypath. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

One thing is for sure if you follow His direction, you willnot be disappointed for in the end of all things you will hear “Well Done – MyGood and Faithful Servant!”

02/12/12 – Honestly Speaking – He trying to get me…

Praise the Lord! It has been aminute since I have written about things and so much is going on, I need to bewriting daily but been writing in my own journal as I needed to get some thingsoff of me.

As we walk through this life,God is trying to get us to see Him. He created the world with all its splendorand beauty. He created a body for us that we are still trying to figure out whyit does what it does when faced with different things. I am talking about the physicalaspect of our bodies and yet the other amazing thing is the mental aspect ofus. When you look over things in this world, there is no way we can say thatGod does not exist, and we have to know that since He exists that He is tryingto get us to see Him and come to Him so that we might have life and have itmore abundantly.

We are His creation and His firstlove…amazing thought when you think about it. Yet when we come to see that Heis greater than us, that He still loves us and wants us as His children, thenin comes the other he…

Satan is trying to get us backinto the world not for our own selfishness but for the killing of God’s word.He hates God; he is mad that he was cast out of heaven and made to live thislife. He wants the seat of God and guess what he thinks he is going to get it.

Too many times we say thatthings are getting bad because satan knows his time is running short…no thingsare getting bad because God said it would, it is how His believers will knowthat time is getting short, not because of what satan is doing…

Man has always been in controlof his life, we are given choice. The Tree of Knowledge was in the garden for areason – the reason was choice. We are given a choice who we shall act like…eithersatan or God. This choice has always been ours – so the power lays in us…notsatan. He has no power whatsoever…because of our actions he thinks he does.

We give him (satan) more powerthan he has and yes we give it to him. He tries to tempt us with things that hehas seen us struggle with before and thinks if it worked once, it will workagain. But God said in Him we can resist these temptation and keep our lvies inline with Jesus.

He is trying to get us – he istrying to get you to step outside of God’s will in hopes that you never stepback, not because of you but all because of God. Yet it is up to us to see itfor what it is…

I am about to hit some majorchanges because satan is throwing it all out there and I thank the Lord for Hisdirection and His love to keep me in Him and not saying forget it and head backto the world.

But hold on . . . when thingscome at us fast – Jesus got you and satan will flee if you walk with Christ –regardless of if something is coming at you or not, Jesus will keep you – trustHim.

Enjoy your day in the Lord andknow that he may try to get you but remember that God already got ya!!

Jude 1:15-21 (KJV) - To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodlyamong them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and ofall their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. Theseare murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouthspeaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because ofadvantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of theapostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; how that they told you there should bemockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. Thesebe they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye,beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the HolyGhost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LordJesus Christ unto eternal life.

02/10/12 – Good Morning – I believe – I believe – Yes Lord – I believe!!

Praise theLord and Good Morning to you!

I know I cannot be the only person who ever felt like thisman. I mean, you are faced with things that you want to be different and theyare not, but waiting on Jesus trying so hard to believe despite what you seebefore you.

As a parent, it is hard sometimes as we watch our childrenmake the wrong choices in their lives, and it is even harder when you blameyourself for the choices they did or did not make. Maybe you do not feel thatyou were there when they needed you the most, or that you missed teaching thema lesson to help them make the right decision, yet in all of it God is therewith you.

I believe the hardest job I have ever had was being a mom.It is a lot of work and it is a lot of decisions made based on how you were orwere not raised, and a LOT of praying. It comforts me in knowing that this fatherhad to cry out to Jesus that he believed but needed His help in believing someparts of it, all for the sake of his child.

As we go through our days and we are faced with things thatappear to be hard to believe that He will fix, let us be like the little girlin “Miracle on 31^st Street” (the old version with Natalie Wood) asshe sat in the car saying “I believe, I believe” repeatedly until she pulled upin front of the house she wanted. We need to wake up each time we are facedwith something that seems impossible and say “Lord, I believe – I believe – I trulybelieve that your word is true – help me to believe it deep within my heart andnever doubt you!”

02/09/12 – Good Morning – The Battle Is Not Over Yet!!!

Praisethe Lord and Good Morning to you – we have made it to another day, yesterday isgone, today is here and we are blessed to be in it. We are given anotheropportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to all those that we meet. Soget out there in the world and make a difference for Jesus. (FYI…I don’t getout much – LOL just playing!)

Today’s scripture is. . .

Revelation 21:3-5 (KJV) - And I heard a great voice out of heavensaying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them,and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be theirGod. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be nomore death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said,Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words aretrue and faithful.

Wellthat is all I need to write today…praise the Lord for His word. I love the wordof the Lord; it is all we need if we allow it to be. There is not a day thatgoes by that the enemy does not try one way or another to get us off track.Sometimes it is tiny little things that go unnoticed by us due to theprotection of Jesus, to the major things that make us shake in our boots. Oneway or another satan is attempting to lure us away from Christ with the battlesof a life time that sometimes makes us give up and throw in the towel.

Butwith Jesus we will have the strength to keep pressing on IF we allow Him tospeak to our hearts, tells us what to do, follow what HE says to do and then becontent while we wait . . . wow that is a big order is it not…BUT in HIM we canaccomplish anything that comes at us to do.

I amlearning to react less, listen more, and focus less on myself and what I want.It is amazing to me when people do not hear what God is saying to them, when itis clear to all those around them, yet and still they have to learn just as Ihad to learn.

Myprayer today for each of us is to learn the lessons that God has for us so thatwe can stand before Him with no more tears, no more pain, no more hurt, in newbodies ready to live with Him for all eternity in the new heaven and new earth…thebattle is not over yet – but we can make it till it is…

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and mydeliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the hornof my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy tobe praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

I read this last night and it just sang to me. I thank theLord for His word and His direction. I thank Him for loving my family and me.It is a blessing to know that Jesus is our strength and direction.

When we are faced with things in our lives, it is Jesus whobrings us back into the place we need to be. The enemy wants us to feeldefeated so we give up and not focus on what He has for us. It is not what weshould do.

My son is once again trying his mama, pulling out so muchstuff that I had to sit back and realize that it was nothing but satan tryingto get me to see my son in a different light, but I refuse to give into whatthe enemy tells me.

I know that God has better plans for this family and thistoo shall pass. It is amazing that every single time our son is closer to a newbreakthrough – all hades breaks out in our house…the devil is a liar but theLord is my strength, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my God in whom I trust…andwe should always trust in Jesus because what the world has is not meant for us,it is the least of the things God has for us.

I know that my son is coming out, my family is getting closerand my words and action must be as Christ has called them to be…so when we arefaced with situations, remember whom we serve and whom we live for and thingswill always work out for our good because we love Him and are called accordingto His purpose!!

Good morning! Praise the Lord! Let me say thank you…yesterdaywas filled with emails about the Good Morning from yesterday – all I can say isPraise the Lord and thank you so much for taking the time to email me. It istruly a blessing to me beyond what words can say and how I can even begin toexpress gratitude for each of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Matthew6:33 (KJV) - But seek ye firstthe kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be addedunto you.

It is a beautiful thing to think on the things of God. Haveyou ever woke up with a praise on your lips, a song in your heart for the Lord –how did the rest of the day go? One of the things I learned is to keep my mindon Jesus, when my mind is not on Him, everything starts to bother me.

It is like the minute my thoughts stray from Him, satan seesa crack to come in and sow some pain, hurt, indecisiveness, doubt, and lack offaith for what is going on with me. It is not always easy to keep my mind on theLord due to being married and having a child.

It would be easier to do if I was single, did not work, andstayed completely to myself BUT that is not what God calls us to, He calls usto be out in the world. Yet when we are out there, what happens, here comesatan with co-workers, spouses with attitudes, kids misbehaving, and evensomeone cutting us off at the light.

So how do we do what the word says…well first we start ourday off in the Lord and in the word. Which means as your feet hit the floor,run to the potty and brush your teeth, hey if you want to get dressed sure dothat too, but before you really start your day – read His word.

We cannot expect things to go right without putting Himfirst. Prayer first thing in the morning and His word first thing in themorning is what I believe He loves. Okay, do you have to do that to be aChristian – NOPE…if you rather wait until you get through your entire daybefore you get the nutrients that you need to make it through the day, that isyour choice, but one thing is for sure…putting Jesus before everything elsewill make your life so much easier.

Will satan come at you, yes but you will be full of God’sword, Jesus power, and the Spirit of the Holy Spirit and you will be able towithstand the attacks of the enemy for you will know what Ephesians6:10-19 says without even thinking twice.

Let us remember that when we place Jesus first, He will notonly get the glory out of our lives but we will have the benefits of having ablessed day in Him for we will be armed to overcome things with His word andthe full armor of the Lord upon us.

Please keep me in prayer as I am going to be doing a seriousseries on spirits, principalities, Succubus, Incubus, and dealing with thedifferent aspects of the spiritual world. It is amazing to me how many peopledo not truly understand that we really are not fighting flesh and blood butspirits in this dark and evil world. It is not always something that is talkedabout and the Lord put upon me to share what He is given me and my ownexperiences with the different spirits.

A lot of times we want to say that people are this waybecause of their own life experiences, but let me say this…it is not always theperson whom can control what happens if they allow themselves to be open to thespirits of this world and not walking in the Spirit of the Lord. Yes,Christians can allow the influence of satan to stop them from walking in theway God has called us to walk. Stay tuned for I shall be sharing via the GoodMorning and my blogs too.

Praise the Lord!!! Are you ready to move past what has beenholding you in the same place? Are you truly ready to move forward in the Lordwithout looking back, just moving forward in Him? Are you ready to move to adifferent level in Jesus and know without a shadow of doubt that He is workingthings out for you?

Many times we look up and feel like we are still wanderingaround in our lives, lost, not knowing when the change is coming…yet thequestion(s) today for you is this:

Are you steadfast in your walk with the Lord, are youlooking to Jesus? Are you doing what He has given you to do without murmur orcomplaint? Are you standing tall with the Lord knowing in your heart thatthings are going to change?

Chances are if you are feeling stuck in a place, some wherethere was some kind of disobedience and you have to correct it. It can be thatyou are not doing any of that and are struggling in your walk, not able totrust in Him. Or it could be that you have made some decisions and you have towait them out in a place that is not very comfortable so that you remember nexttime to listen to Him. Whatever the case, looking to the Lord is where you needto look so that you can get the answers that you need to continue to wait inHim for the change.

Some changes do not come until you reach a point ofunderstanding, until you have learned what is needed before you can moveforward, or until your mistake(s) catch up to where you need to be….let meshare something with you.

I am living in a two bedroom townhouse, a place that isbeyond cramped for my family. If we have more than two visitors, with all of ushome, it is crowded in this house. It is just too small.

Prior to this, I had a 3 bedroom house and a house is biggerthan a townhouse. We had room there. I thought when I was there that it wassmall. Shame on me…I wanted to get out of that place for there were too manymemories. My ex-husband was driving past the house and my 6 year old son wasstill very much traumatized by the divorce. I thought I would go ahead and moveout of that place for a chance to have change and move past things. I did notask the Lord, I did what I wanted.

He (Jesus) sent Merv to tell me not to do it, I totallyignored him, why not he was not my husband and I was determined to do what Iwanted to do. As I sit at the dining room table on my computer typing this, Ihave to shake my head at my stubbornness. If we would have still been there, wewould have waited for the promises of the Lord in a place that had more roomthan this and could accommodate us.

The decision I made did not delay the blessing, but what itdid is make me wait in a place of inconvenience until the blessing of the newhome comes. The new home is still coming when God said it is coming, I justhave to wait in a place that is too small, too cramped, and just not my desireto wait in and guess what – I need to wait in contentment!!

When we are faced with decisions, questions in life – we arebetter off waiting in the Lord in the place that He wants us to be whether itis a job, a home, a situation, a season or whatever it is – we should not movebefore Jesus says so.

Yet a lesson has been learned that I know not to move untilthe Lord says to. I have tried to move out of here, and every single door hasbeen closed in my face with no real reason for it to be so. I was still lookinguntil about a month ago. I was looking until the Lord said, my child you don’t want to listen to me, letme show you what I can do so that you truly hear me. Our finances are goingto be cut into less than half of what we currently have, the Lord said you wantto see something, watch this. We cannot move if we wanted too without Hismighty blessings flowing.

Sometimes we are stuck where we are because He needs us tobe there so that the roads can be paved for us. This is so that we do not tripover all the dirt and gravel lying around and break something in us. It is whatHe calls protection that we take as rejection, but rejection is always theprotection of Jesus Christ over our lives. We can and will grow in Him…justwait on His release, His direction and truly His word before doing anything atall.

Psalm 37:34 (KJV) - Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and heshall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shaltsee it.

Psalm 27:13-14 (KJV) - I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness ofthe LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, andhe shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Praise the Lord!! Good Morning! First let me say sorry forno Good Morning on Sunday.

Saturday my husband got a word from the Lord for Hisfamily – we were to praise/worship the Lord all day, no internet, no computers,no cell phones, no laptops, nothing but the family and Jesus. It was verywonderful day as a family as all we did was sit around talking about Jesus. Nobills, no issues, no problems were discussed, just JESUS…what a blessing thatwas. I thought in the beginning that he was nuts, what are we going to do ALLday…but God moves in the way He wants to move and it was a blessing to knowthat He was truly the center of our conversation yesterday and it even spilled intothe rest of our days afterwards.

Mark 1:35 (KJV) - And in the morning, rising up agreat while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, andthere prayed.

How many of us does just that…taketime away from the world and just sit around talking to the Lord and our familyabout Jesus. I have been walking with the Lord for almost 7 years now and thiswas the first time we actually did this. It was a blessing. We have done thisduring fasting and things of that sort, but this is the first time as a familywe shut out the entire world unplanned – it was a blessing.

Today I want to encourage youto do just that…sit down and shut out the world, spend the time alone with the Lordor spend the time alone with the family and the Lord. It will grow your walkwith Him and bring you more peace than ever before! Stand in Jesus and walkaccording to His will for your life!

Good Morning!! How are you this beautiful day? I pray thattoday is going to be a day of love, patience and understanding for you!

1Corinthians 2:9-12 (KJV) - But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath preparedfor them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: forthe Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what manknoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even sothe things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received,not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might knowthe things that are freely given to us of God.

It is a blessing of the Lord to live in Him, to know Him andto hear from Him. It is a blessing to hear the Spirit of the Lord speaking tous about things and to know things in the Lord. The best is the knowledge ofJesus.

We receive knowledge when we are in His word and focusing onwhat His word is saying. It is so important to pray and build your relationshipwith the Lord so that you can truly hear the things that God reveals to us.There is so much division in the body of Christ because too many are makingtheir own interpretation of the word to justify their thinking and others arenot studying enough to know that what the person is saying is not true.

Let us get back to the truth, the word of the Lord is true,there is really no gray in His word, it is black and white – we are the oneswho bring in the color.

Praise the Lord – Good Morning….does that scripture justsing to you! I mean think about it, is this not how we should be about Him….Ijust love the way David talked about the Lord, I can see why he was a man afterGod’s heart.

Yesterday I barely got anything done, I was in total worshipand praise most of the day, just loving the Lord and being in His presence. Wedo not have to be at church to feel His presence or His love.

I wrote this on my Facebook status and going to share with youalthough altered a little bit to fit what is needed for this email…

Do youknow the love of Jesus - we all have it but many do not allow themselves tofeel it - when you truly allow yourself to not only feel His love but be in Hispresence - you will never want anything else...unspeakable joy is truly ablessing and let me tell you I NEVER thought I would have that and I do - thankyou Jesus - don't matter what anyone says or does...Jesus loves me - rotten,lousy, mean, hateful, downright ignorant and uncaring me - He loved me and hasbeen changing me ever since I learned that He loves me anyhow!!

Have you spent some time today loving on the Lord, givingHim praise and focusing on Him? If you have not, hummmm I wonder what kind ofday you are having – it can’t be the best day because you did not invite Him tocome with you.

02/01/12 – Honesty Today – The month of love!

My hubby who is my teddy bear who loves me for me!

Praise the Lord everyone! It is the beginning of February already! I love it! It is a blessing to be in the month of love! It is a blessing to love Him but it is best to feel His love. It is amazing to know that He loves us and there is no greater love than Jesus.

Many of my sisters are single, some by choice but most by current situation. I read so many things and pray a lot for my sisters to get the message – occupy your time doing God’s will and focus less on being single.

Men do not want a woman of desperation and it is amazing as my 11 year old son showed me that no man or boy REALLY wants a woman of desperation. My son showed me that young men are starting earlier than when I was a kid. I received a call to check out a video from his school bus where he was on the bus receiving a lap dance from one of the girls on his bus. (This was before the holidays) Yet when I asked him the other day was this girl one of the girls that he currently likes, he said no. I asked him why, he said because she gives lap dances. WHAT??? You got in trouble for it but you don’t even like her.

Yet grown women are doing the very same thing as this little girl, giving the men what they think they want only to be rejected by them when the time comes to move the relationship forward. We are giving away what God has said not to and yet we are wondering why we are getting our feelings hurt.

I gave up all my thoughts of ever being married again. I ought to be ashamed to say that I am married to my third husband but I am not….Jesus forgave me and if you cannot – shame on ya! Most that do not are mad at God that they are single or still in a loveless marriage. I made some serious mistakes in my life and after coming to Jesus I learned that these things were wrong and the Lord blessed me to know Him better.

He sent me a man of God into my life to help me grow in Jesus, to be the head of my life. I am not a woman who is not thankful by any means. I am blessed to have a man of God who loves me as the word says He should. He loves Jesus more than me and that is just fine with me.

Many of us do not even consider the aspects of being married, what it brings, and how we will react to being married to someone forever. It is not always good days, but it is still good – if you are living for Christ and your spouse is too…what an awesome opportunity to see the love of Jesus in a person.

Many are worried about being single, but waiting for the right man, the one who will love you more than any man on earth AND who loves Jesus more than he loves you.

I have a husband who prays for me and with me, who fast with me and for me….who studies with me and worships with me. We are in ministry work together as a team against the ways of the world encouraging each other and loving each other. We grow each day in our marriage and in our walk in the Lord.

This is what you want – smiling and loving the Lord with the spouse that God has called you to be with…yes there is someone out there for you but you need to keep yourself in the word of the Lord and know that nothing is better than His will for your life.

Praise the Lord for He is love – Good Morning to you! It istruly a blessing to know Him and to live for Him. It is amazing how much theLord is working in the lives of His people.

Romans8:38-39 (KJV) - For Iam persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, norpowers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor anyother creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is inChrist Jesus our Lord.

No matter what goes on remember that NOTHING can separateyou from the love of Jesus. He loves you despite ALL that you do and do not do,now of course if you do not love Him back there is a price in the end of allthings but yet remember He still loves you.

For when He is for you – who can be against you, you aremore than a conquer so move forward with no excuses knowing that God is yourreward. Being with Him for all eternity is worth the ridicule, lonely nights,feeling like you are fighting the world – think about spending ALL eternitywith Jesus! It is more than worth it…keep pressing on…

GoodMorning – Good Morning! I praise the Lord for His mighty days of life andlove!! It is amazing to know Him and to know that He loves us despite us. It isa blessing to know the Lord and to serve Him.

Whenyou are given a task from the Lord, what is your first response? Do you moveaway from the task out of fear? Afraid that if you do it, it is not going towork out? Are you afraid you will run out of money, or that no one will come?God has given all of us tasks to do that will advance HIS kingdom, yet we areafraid of leaving that church, leaving that job, or even leaving thatrelationship that is going south anyhow.

It isnot always easy stepping out into the unknown but do not let fear be the reasonwhy you are disobedient to the Lord, allow your heart to rest in Jesus and knowthat He is able, remember that you can do all things through Christ and that Hewill never leave you. It is in the word of the Lord that we have to stand whenlife comes at us making us have fear and doubt for truly His way is the way tolive this life!

Good Morning – Good Morning – what a Sundayservice yesterday was…it was truly the word that had me sitting up and payingattention…

Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) - For my thoughtsare not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For asthe heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways,and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (KJV) - For I know the thoughtsthat I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, togive you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and prayunto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, whenye shall search for me with all your heart.

On Saturday night, I was talking to my husband about thesituations that I knew were going to endure after our money is cut down to ¼ ofwhat we have now. I was telling him how concerned I was and as always my husbandcomes back about faith…

I heard him but was missing my peace so went into prayer, feltbetter and went to sleep. There were still some thoughts of what was going tohappen, since I am such a reality type person…although most of us until welearn the lesson of trust and faith, we do not get out of that type of person.

Pastor Connie speaks first about knowing what God has told you andshe came from Jeremiah 29 starting with the first verse to the thirteenthverse. It was really a reminder to me that God is still in control, but thenPastor Neville came with the topic of “Am I Generous”, which was a question Ineeded to answer for myself.

Yet he said something that made me shut up and take self-inventory…”IfGod is not God of ALL – then He is not God at all”, even now when I type that Ihave a ‘shut up’ valley girl thought…oh my goodness Lord, that is what is wrongwith me…If God was my ALL, then I would not even really be concerned about howthe bills would be, I would do what Pastor Connie said and just forget aboutthings and praise Him.

I was having a weak moment on Saturday night, but God heard my cryand made sure the word that I needed was preached on Sunday services. It was areminder that He is still in control and that He is truly the one that I needto make my all. My own thoughts, selfishness and desires are not nearly asimportant as to whom He is in my lfie, He must be first in all things, not justwhen we are going through but even when things are good, when the season calls forit to be as such and even when the season is slow and dry – Jesus is still theone to focus on.

I love how He will remind us how awesome He truly is because itstrengthens my love, my trust, and my faith in Him. So as you go through yourday, remember this:

If God is not God of ALL –then He is not God at all!!

When you allow God to be God of all, then you will not have tohave any other concerns in your life for your focus will be on His kingdom andnot your desires and needs…remember the word of the Lord says:

Matthew 6:31-34 (KJV) - Therefore take nothought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithalshall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) foryour heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek yefirst the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall beadded unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shalltake thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evilthereof.

We really need to do more than read the word; we need to live ittoo! God bless and please forget about you and live as Jesus has called us tolive – in Him and only in Him!

As a child of the Most High God, walking with Him andtalking with Him, just knowing He is there is enough to get us on fire forHim…yet are you?

We are to be on fire for the Lord. I have come to find outthat I annoy some of my saved and unsaved family due to my zealousness ofJesus. All the joy the Lord has given me, I let it shine out and just reign inmy life and that tends to annoy people who are not happy in their lives. I knowit does because it used to annoy me but it is in knowing Him that we must bespreading His love and joy.

We should not get so laid back in our walk, that we almostnever share the gospel, share a testimony or sing with joy. There are many whothink saying they are a Christian and praying for people is enough, neverreally understanding that we are all ministers unto Christ.

It amazes me how so many are so silent and will stand in thebackground of things – God has not called us to stand back but to stand out inHis name. Move forward my sisters and brothers in spreading the gospel and knowthat Jesus is coming back and He shall be pleased with your actions as long asyou are doing them with the zeal of Christ in your heart.

01/24/12 –Honesty Today - 21 Days of Fasting – It Is Over

Praise the Lord for He is worthy!!! WOW – the 21 days wentfast…yet the charge was awesome. I spent the last two days not online or doingany electronic things and it was really something logging onto everything thismorning.

I logged on this morning and went to Facebook, did what Ineeded to do with WL4J and was bored with it after that. So I came off of it. Ihave a few things I wanted to do today and shall do that, but what I havelearned is how to relax. I mean really relax.

I have to say that shutting out the world and focusing onJesus is really a blessing and I need to do this more often, so I am going todo just that at least once a month. It is a blessing to spend this time withthe Lord and I can see why He wants us to do this.

I just wanted to tell you that I did not forget about yall,just basking in the goodness of Jesus and enjoying His presence. It kind ofmakes you want to not do anything but talk to Him…so I shall talk to you alllater!

James 1:5-7(KJV) - If any ofyou lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, andupbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothingwavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the windand tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of theLord.

You know one of the things we do is seek God for a lot ofmaterial things, but we need to seek Him for wisdom. I love how Solomon askedGod for wisdom to be the king that God wanted Him to be, and he became not onlythe wisest king ever but the riches one too.

I believe that our main concept in this life is to seek thewill of God and what He wants for us and to do that we have to use the wisdomthat He has given to us to live in this time and age. It is not alwaysnecessary to be the ‘best’ at everything, but it is necessary to be what He hascalled us to be in Him.

To know Him is to have the wisdom to follow Him and not whatwe want to do, but what He wants us to do. Keep things in your life in line withChrist by asking Him to give you the wisdom that you need to live for Him.

Praise the Lord all…I pray this newsletter finds you doingwell in Christ. I am currently not online but blessed with technology toschedule the delivery of the email on its regular scheduled time despite my inabilityto be online right now. I love technology.

As I am typing this, I am preparing to take 48 hoursoffline, just to be obedient to the Lord and His will for my life. I have aquestion for you…

How often do you feel the presence of the Lord around you? Imean how often do you allow yourself to feel Him moving in your heart, in mymind and in your spirit. It amazes me how many people have never felt Hispresence yet say they know Him. It amazes me how many people think the only placeyou can feel Him is in church when the songs of praise are going forth, yetconfuse the spirits that are moving in church as His spirit but truly is notHim.

I am calling all my sisters and brothers to truly leave yourcares of this world behind and to move according to His will and get in Hispresence. It is in His presence deliverance will come, change comes, healingscome, and blessings come. It is in Him that we feel the fullness of joy andlife is not as bad as we thought it was. It is in His presence that we havelife and we have it more abundantly. It is in Him that we should live and die.It is in Him that we have a chance to have eternal life full of joy andhappiness.

Many people say that you should live your best life now, butyour best life is yet to come, your best life comes in Christ and His return,but if you do not know Him as He knows you, then you will miss out on your bestlife and the best is all that you have here on this earth.

Jesus has so much more in store for His people, but we haveto make sure we are His people and not people of the world. It is time to putaside all those things that we know are not pleasing to our Father with no moreexcuses as to why we can’t – we need to truly rest in Jesus and know that Hisway is the only way…

He is calling you out…time to rise above all that is beforeyou and walk in Christ for all eternity!

Praise the Lord for He is soworthy! Good Morning to you!!

I am always talking aboutserving others, yet this hit me as I was driving the other day…those that areservers need to also learn to be receivers too.

John 14:1-3 (KJV) - ¹Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believealso in me. ²In my Father's house are many mansions: if itwere not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ³Andif I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you untomyself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Jesus did not go through allthat He has so that we live a life of not receiving what He has for us. He hasgifts for us that bring not just glory to Him but brings joy to us and who weare in Him.

Manyof us do not accept help, we need it, we ask God for it and then He sends itvia a person and we don’t accept it. We need to understand that God is callingus to accept His love and His gifts…the next time someone offers you something afteryou asked the Lord for the help…take it with no shame and bless the Lord forall that He is doing for you!

Praise the Lord!! Good Morning to you my fellow sisters andbrothers in Christ!! We are truly blessed on this wonderful Sunday morning. Itis so awesome to be in the serve of the Lord and I pray that today you find theability to be in His service today.

Matthew 20:26-28 (KJV) - But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great amongyou, let him be your minister; and whosoever will be chief among you, let himbe your servant: even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but tominister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Just this word alone is motivation to move forward in whatGod has for us to do, there are many out there that need us to be in Hisservice so that they come to know Christ. The first place we need to start isour own home by living right before our family.

We have to remember that in Christ there should be a changeand this change means that our lives are no longer the same. We cannot expectour children to change their ways if we ourselves have not changed our ways toline up in Christ as He has called us to line up.

We are to be servants before the Lord and in doing so let usbegin in our own household.

01/20/12 - Honesty Today - 21 Days of Fasting – (Day Eighteen)

Praise the Lord…all right a sister is on her way tocompleting this fast…only four more days. Friday – Saturday – Sunday and Monday– my prayer for these last few days is that I will hear more from the Lord andI will shut things down for a bit more each day.

I was really thinking on this weight and what God has beenshowing me about my weight and my lifestyle. I have been really dealing withsome serious self-control issues that are line with gluttony and laziness too.It has been such a big eye opener for me and has kept me thinking more aboutthe things that God has for me and what He has already done for me.

It got me to thinking…why are we so afraid to face our sins .. . why is it so hard to face the fact that we sin and it is against God and weneed to stop it. I think too many of us get comfortable in our sins and end upbeing stuck in them out of pride of not wanting to admit we need to get out ofthem.

Today I really want to say to all of us to look inside of ourselvesand allow ourselves to see what Jesus has done for us and what else He wants tochange in us. It is in this we are to love Him and accept what He wants us tochange in us so that we can be better children of the most High God – Jesus Christ.

We need to strive to live for Him.

Are you living your best life now? I hope not – what I meanis we may be living good now but the best is yet to come.

Jesus is returning and all we have now will not matter – itwill be gone. All those that tell us to live our best life now is trying to getyou out of the slump you are in so your offering doesn’t leave the church BUT Iam here to tell you live the best life you can while preparing for your nextlife which is the best life IF you live this one right in Christ.

01/19/12 - The Battle of the Bulge – Part 17 – He Knows You…

Praise the Lord for His mighty works in Him. I am a blessedwoman in God and I am thankful.

It is hard sometimes to change, it is hard to let go of thethings of the past to move forward into the things that God has for you…thisscripture is screaming at me:

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) - For I know thethoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not ofevil, to give you an expected end.

It is amazing when you think about it, how the Lord knowswhat we are going through when we are going through it. Yet there are somethings that are really deep inside of us that need to be worked on so that welet Him reign in our lives.

The weight is coming off of me, I am now down to 254 poundsand although I have not yet hit my first goal weight due to the issues withinme, but yet this is the smallest I have been in a long time…so I started to sitand hear from God.

The bondage that was upon my life is no longer there, it isin the dedication to Him that I have risen above where I used to be …it is inthis I have learned to speak out more about the injustice I see around me, tospeak out about the ignorance that is given to me…it is in this that I havealso allowed myself to be free.

I cast off 66 pounds never to return, and still have atleast 85 to 104 pounds to go still, yet I do not fret or worry…this is thefirst time that I have not done so.

When the weight started coming off, I started shedding somethings on my heart and making room to allow His love to reign in my life. Ihave come to understand for me that the reason the struggle was so bad was forseveral reasons:

1. I did not love myself

2. I did not love God

3. I had pain/hurt in my heart that needed released

Many are facing this very same thing and are still inbondage in some manner or another, sure it might not be food, but it issomething that you are in bondage too, it could just be that you have no joy inyour life due to one of those three reasons listed above or due to all of them…

Yet Jesus knows you and wants you to be free from yourbondage and walking in HIS marvelous light with joy and happiness in your heart!!Would you like to join me today and live a life free from pain/hurt?

01/19/12 - - Honesty Today - 21 Days of Fasting – (Day Seventeen)

Praise the Lord! I am alive and well in Jesus! It amazes methat every single year during our 21 day fast something happens to this body ofmine. Last year, I was able to learn that I can control my food intake, andthis year I am learning that He is truly in control of my body for it is His.

I have been sick for the last couple of days, but yesterdaywas the worse. I could not even hold my head up so I know when I went to thestore to get some medicine, and the look from the girl behind the counter wasin hopes of not getting what I have. It is funny as I think of it, she lookedlike I had some horrible disease and she did not want it. My hair was stuffedunder a cap that I noticed later was not on properly and I just looked as badas I felt. She kept her distance and was most likely glad that I used my cardand not given her money.

Yet it got me to thinking..

As a believer in Christ, this is how the world views us. Wehave some kind of disease that others do not even want to have…yet they needthis so much that they do not know. I love talking to those in the world andbeing able to approach them about Christ. It is hard to witness to our family.

We can not be afraid to allow Jesus to shine in our lives.My brother, whom I love dearly runs from Jesus still. The Lord continues tobless him in his life, but yet he runs as most of the world does, yet the dooropens every so often for me to plant more seeds on his heart for the truth of theLord.

He stated to forget love, he prefers loyalty. He says thatloyalty shows love, which in my thoughts is not true, for with love comesloyalty. My brother is very open in his conversation which to me is a blessing,for that means there is still hope – well there is always hope but he showsvisible hope. There was 22 people who liked this status, yet I wonder how manyof them read what I wrote in response to his wording…let me share a few withyou today:

Loyaltywithout love is desperation bro... who wants that, life without love is a lifeunfulfilled..

Have ityour way...but there is a love that does not hurt at all...looking for love inall the wrong places brings love that hurts...one day you shall see... :)

Yetthere is ONE love that stops all that hurt...this was my point bro - it is HISlove that stops me from hurting the ones I love - it is HIS love that changesall things - when we accept HIS love - all other love lines up cause HIS lovemakes the difference....when you try Him and His love - you will see that allother love is nothing compared to Him and will make your original statementuntrue! :)

Yet asa true child of God - you would know that you are not to accept what the worldgives because the world is not your home - the way of this world is of darknessand you would know that love and loyalty would go hand in hand...mom raised usright - this is why we grow the way we grow - she also taught us that Jesus isthe way to go, and to follow Him and to love Him is to follow His ways and liveHis ways . . . so with that said....your first statement is still not true -for one that knows HIS love knows that there is no other love needed in thislife and He has gone beyond proving loyalty but proving love...think on thatfor a minute and then read the book of John (yes I am asking you to do that forme) and see what real love is...what we get from others is a form of love whichwill ALWAYS be imperfect - real love and real loyalty for that fact only comesfrom the one who has shown that time again...you are here today because of hislove and loyalty - sure you acknowledge him but not live for him - there is adifference....when you come to know real love - you will see that real lovewill never hurt you, real love will never leave you - it is true love thatcomes from the hearts of others shining through Jesus that makes thedifference... LOL bro you know I ain't going to say nothing else on thisone...lol all that you see before you in the women that you meet is not reallove until you accept AND walk in His love for you! :) Plus thank you so muchfor the opportunity to share what He has given me on real love and loyalty -love you to life bro - love you to life!! :)

Wellbro time to change worlds...your world ain't working for ya! LOL

Yet he still chooses loyalty over love…loyalty will lead himto hell, but love shall lead him to eternal life – which is why we are to lovepeople to life and not death…love as Jesus loves and watch all the rest followas He says.

I shared his response because many times people deny Christalthough they know the right way, they CHOOSE to not follow Him although theyknow there is a difference. I know my brother is not going to read the wordtoday, BUT he will one day. I also know that my brother is a thinker, I knowthat all that I have said will come back at him one day, and ring in His earsbecause this is what God’s word does – it rings truth and stays with us.

It is amazing when dealingwith family, I am the religious sister…yet I am the happiest one out the bunch,I am the one that has things going in the right order and even in my moments ofweakness Jesus still reigns. Do not allow the enemy to take you off track inHis will and way…it is best to be as He has called us to be because you neverknow when He is going to use you to witness to another.

Good morning to you! It is a blessing to be a child of God.I found a great commentary reminder during my personal study on these versesand I want to share it with you:

Oftenwe run into people who are looking for God among the dead. They study the Bibleas a mere historical document and go to church as if going to a memorialservice. But Jesus is not among the dead – He lives.

Hereigns in the hearts of Christians, and He is the head of His church. Do youlook for Jesus among the living? Do you expect Him to be active in the worldand in the church?

My question to you today is “Do you allow Him to be alive inyou?”

01/16/12 - Honesty Today - 21 Days of Fasting – (Day Fourteen)

Ephesians 6: 11-12 (KJV) - Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand againstthe wiles of the devil. For we wrestlenot against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickednessin high places.

Praise theLord! I love the Lord and He is so worthy of all my praise and truly greatly tobe praise. It is awesome – just awesome to be His child AND KNOW IT!! Everyonein this world is His child, but some do not acknowledge Him as their Father,and there was a time that I did not either. Yet God is showing me that He isnot only my Father, but my Protector, my Comforter, for He is MY JESUS!!

I have beenreally going through some spiritual battles and was asking God not why I wasgoing through them, but why I have to write about them…He told me because inspeaking them satan has no hold on me. Yet not only to set me free but to helpsomeone else, so I am going to tell it as I see it and I know that there aregoing to be some that do not agree with me at all. There are some that aregoing to say that I am nuts, and I pray that you will allow the Lord to speakto you on this too.

Everythingis governed by the Lord; every single thing is governed by the Lord. It is notalways easy to understand this, but it is true. It is hard sometimes to imaginethat God would allow the pain and hurt in this world to come about, but He didnot want this pain to come forth and He did not want us to suffer, just readthe beginning of the bible, Genesis tells you what His first plan was for us.Yet, we were the one who allowed sin to enter in.

We are givena choice, we are given the ability to make the right choices, but the issuecomes in when we allow ourselves to think for ourselves. When we think forourselves, we start acting as if we are gods ourselves. It is a complex that wehave…yet we are not gods no matter what people try to get us to believe. Satanwanted to be a god, he wanted the glory too, and ended up losing his positionin heaven…we are faced with the same thing also.

As we walkthrough this day, we have to remember that there is only one God, Jesus Christand we are HIS children but we must remember to always stand in His word andnot our own word…

01/15/12 - Honesty Today - 21 Days of Fasting – (Day Thirteen)

Praisethe Lord! Day Thirteen and the blessings of the Lord are flowing and the loveis deep in my heart for my Lord who loves me so. I must be cleaning out mysystem too because my body is going through some stuff. I feel as if more thanthe sickness of my body is coming out but the sickness of my heart too.

Ihave started another devotional during this time too. It is amazing how muchtime I have when I am not playing computer games. This one is called: “InvitingGod’s Presence” by Larry Keefauver. I will have to update you when I am donewith it. Thus far it seems like it might be good, but of course today was thefirst day.

Itis amazing what the enemy will bring to you to get your mind off of Jesus…it ishard sometimes to resist because he is cunning and knows the desires of theflesh because of his own desires that he has had…the bottom-line to resistingthe enemy is submitting to God AND resisting pride.

Pridecomes in many forms and ways. It is amazing to me that God does all that Hedoes for us and yet we allow our pride to stop us from accepting Him into ourlives, and by not accepting His will means that we are not accepting Him.

Iam learning that within me is a lot of different issues that have yet to bedealt with but it is still all a learning process. What a process – LOL…

Godis truly good because He loves us so much that He is teaching us and haspatience with us as we learn.

Self-controlis on the menu for me and it is NOT easy and yes it is a pride thing…wow the scriptureon pride is scream out at me:

Proverbs 16:17-19 (KJV) ¹⁷The highwayof the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth hissoul. ¹⁸Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughtyspirit before a fall. ¹⁹Better it is to be of an humblespirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Itis not always easy but it truly is worth it when we follow His words and notour own thoughts!

Praisethe Lord for His mighty blessings. WOW – these few days have been really hardand trying. I guess the enemy realized that the food was not the issue; it waspushing things in front of me instead. It was a learning lesson for me.

YetGod is working things out and working things within me. It is a blessing to beable to serve the Lord and know that He is always with you. Our lives are ablessing. Yesterday was a day of rest for me, so much wrestling within myspirit and my mind that I needed to have physical rest too.

Itis truly a blessing to walk with Him, for even in our weak moments He is thereand our strong moments – He makes stronger by showing us that He is stillkeeping us.

Iread something in my bible study lesson that really stayed with me:

Luke 17:7-10(KJV)- ⁷But which of you, having a servant plowingor feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field,Go and sit down to meat? ⁸And will not rather say unto him,Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I haveeaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? ⁹Dothhe thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trownot. ¹⁰So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all thosethings which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have donethat which was our duty to do.

If we have obeyed God, we have only done our duty and weshould regard it as a privilege. Do you sometimes feel that you deserve extracredit for serving God? Remember, obedience is not something extra we do; it isour duty. Jesus is not rendering our service as meaningless or useless, nor isHe doing away with rewards. He is attacking unwarranted self-esteem andspiritual pride. Live as if Jesus is returning today.

This was truly something for me to think on and look over mylife to see what the deal is with my life and if I am living for Christ for allthe right reasons. So many are doing what they do so that they receive the praiseright now but we should do it because it is what He wants us to do and Hedeserve it – not us!!

01/13/12 – Good Morning – It’s Not Too Late

Praise the Lord for He is worthy to be praise! Good Morningto you! As I was thinking on what to write about today…I thought I would sharethis…

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV1984) - For I know theplans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harmyou, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah20:11 (KJV) - For Iknow the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace,and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

It is never too late to start doing what He has called youto do. I read somewhere that if you do not start out doing what God wants youto do, that you are going to go through a lot more stuff than you would have originally.

I believe that to be true and a living testimony of it, BUT somelife lessons that are priceless come out of disobedience. Okay before you jumpon me, no I am not saying you have to touch the stove to know it is hot andwill burn you, BUT IF you happen to touch the stove and it burns you – you willNOT make that mistake again.

Many times we get all concerned about what we missed out onnot living for the Lord and doing His will the first time, when in fact, wehave grown more than we could have ever thought possible because we startedlate in doing what we were supposed to do, YET He knew we were going to do thisvery thing…what a mighty God we serve…

It is not too late to pick up your assignment in Him andbegin to move forward in Him; sometimes being side tracked will bring thevision all the more clearer…I hope this makes sense, until tomorrow – Lord willingwalk in the newness of Christ and know that you can begin again today!

01/12/12 – Honesty Today - 21 Days of Fasting – (Day Ten)

Praisethe Lord – I am writing late today due to the busy (NOT) day I had today! Ihave however been doing a lot of inside stuff.

It is something as the Lord isworking in me to do things differently and to see things differently.

Todaywas a day of reflection and making sure my mind is lining up to where it needsto be. It is truly a blessing to know the Lord and not going to go into a greatbig detail, but I have been praying that I do what I do because of what He saysto do and not for any thing but that.

Itis not always easy and when you see ministers failing all around you, it issometimes hard to keep your focus on what God has called you to do, but I ambelieving that I am getting it as it comes together. He is sending people myway and not sure why as of yet, but I know it is not by chance and I shallstore it in my mind and heart to remember it later when it is time.

Idid however spend a lot of time this evening ministering to a young man in myneighborhood, while I was supposed to be doing homework, but hey one lost soulis worth ignoring homework…not that I was really going to do it in the firstplace – Jesus knew that too!

WellI wanted to at least reach out and say hello today and make sure you know whatis going on…tomorrow starts a new day in less than a half-hour for me so Lordwilling I shall have a better writing tomorrow.

01/12/12 – Good Morning – Cast It Out

Good morning…if you are a follower of my blogs, this mightbe old news to you and if you are not a follower of my blogs – check the other one out here.

Luke 10:1-2; 17 (KJV) - Afterthese things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and twobefore his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.Therefore said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers arefew: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forthlabourers into his harvest.

And theseventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject untous through thy name.

Glory to God for the power that He has given unto us, He hasgiven us the power to cast out things that are not of Him, and although thenext verses speak on rejoicing on the fact that our names are written in thebook of Life, I want to focus on the casting out for a minute, if you do notmind.

We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but spirits,principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness, and spiritual wickedness inhigh places (Ephesians 6:12), yet sometimes I think we really forget this. (I shall try to make this story short)

My son suffers from overeating, but anyone that looks at myhusband and I know that we do too, okay so the whole house suffers from this.As I was giving my son yet another lecture about watching what he is eating,getting angry because he snuck extra food along with lying to me about it, Isent him on his merry way to school all to wonder where I went wrong with this.

We are on a 21-day fast and let me tell you – Jesus is NOT playing with us anymore either. Hespoke so clear I wanted to cry (well kindof did). I was crying to Him in my spirit about what is going on with myson, “Lord what can I do?” I keep praying Lord but this is the one thing hewill not stop doing, no matter how much I pray.

The word of the Lord came to me – you cannot take the speckout of your son’s eye when there is a beam in your eye. WHAT??!! Are youserious…but I am trying Lord, I have lost over 60 pounds, what are you talkingabout…

Yes but have you moved past 250 lbs. yet, no Lord I havenot, so why not, you have been stuck here for two months, excusing it away, nomore excuses is your motto for this year…silence and hear what I am saying toyou…I could hear Him speaking to me clearly and as He spoke I spoke it to myhusband.

We cannot cast things out of others if we are suffering fromthat same thing, regardless of what it is. Everything is governed by spirits;think on that one for a minute – EVERYTHING is governed by some kind of spiritand if you think otherwise you are fooling yourself…

All the good and the bad is governed by some kind of spirit,so if you are trying to do something that is for the kingdom of God but youstruggle with that same thing, it is not going to change UNTIL you cast it outof yourself and get the victory over it.

After my husband prayed, the Lord had me pray becausealthough hubby prayed he prayed a prayer of acceptance of the word andthanksgiving of the word, nothing was cast off of us, and it was all stillthere. I prayed to that spirit, I literally cast it off to the pit of hellnever to return...guess what – I feel totally free from the spirit of gluttonyand slothfulness . . . so guess what is going to happen – I am going to getpass the 250 mark and meet my goal (150 lbs.), my son will come away from thisand the hubby will lose the weight too.

It is all in believing, trusting, casting out things thatare not of God, and then walking in the blessings of this life in Jesus…maythis help you as you face things inside of you that need changed…cast it outand walk in faith knowing that starting that day – you are a new creature inChrist.

01/11/12 – Honesty Today - 21 Days of Fasting – (Day Nine)

Praisethe Lord! God is mighty and full of grace/mercy and love…but He is also a Godof wrath. Most times I do not think about the wrath of God unless I am readingthe Old Testament…but He is still the same God as before.

TodayI took a family to the food bank so that they could get food. The week prior tothat I emptied out my freezer and gave them food as the Lord directed. I haveto admit that I do not always love people as I should and hard on those who donot even attempt to try to provide for their family.

Thehusband is not one of my favorite people, and I pray much when I know I have tobe around him, so not knowing he was coming with me and seeing him, I cried outto the Lord – WHY IS HE COMING?? Normally it is just her and me, but the Lordsaid to be silent and pray.

So that is what I did.

Aswe leave the food bank, the husband comes out with things for a dog…the wifeasked who is that for, he said for us, she said we do not have a dog, he sayswe will, she says we are not getting a dog, he says yes we are. I am sittingthere all the while the words are screaming in my head – YOU CAN’T FEED YOURFAMILY HOW YOU GOING TO FEED A DOG?? Yet I remain silent…it was a husband andwife conversation and I am not part of that union. (We need to realize that anddo not jump into conversations between husband and wife, there is an elder thatdoes that and it bothers me to no end.)

Theyhave to go to the grocery store as they get a food voucher for $5.00 and theyneed sugar and milk – which by the way is more than $5.00…pray for the foodvouchers to be a little more but I know they are trying to get it so people donot spend 5.00 and put 5.00 cash in their pockets. Yet she sent him in thestore which I thought was so we could talk, and it was…but I had to ask thequestion about the dog and what was going on in the house.

Ipray for those that are not following Christ for the decisions they make areselfish, truly selfish. Yet husband gets back in the car, mind you, this is theman who refuses to allow his family to go to a church he has not selectedhimself, and he refuses to go to church himself.

Yet he knows the word of theLord…as I was talking about the power of the Holy Spirit and God and how thisis a year of no excuses and what God has been working in our lives during thisfast. Her husband quotes a scripture – giving me the book and verse that speaksof blessings…speak Lord…

Ibegin to preach and I mean preach on how Jesus is not about blessing those whodo not live for Him. At least not the blessings that he was speaking of, notthe scripture that he was speaking of either. I spoke on how we have to be inchurch, be in the word, building our relationship with Christ, providing forour families and living the life Jesus has called us to and that we cannotexpect things from Jesus if we are not living right. All along he is agreeingwith me. He is trying to match the words that I am saying and in my heart Iknow that he is not truly hearing BUT his wife is.

Itis time people of God to stand for Christ no matter who you face…you can knowthe word of the Lord inside and out BUT if you do not live this very word, youshall be cast into the depths of hell just as with those that do not evenacknowledge Him because to not live the word of God is not acknowledging Jesus.His word says if you love Him you will obey His commandments…God is not playingas many are not even trying to live right – it takes more than being nice, ittakes more than trying – it takes succeeding and if you think otherwise you arebehind in the race.

Iam saying this in love – really I am as many are suffering and hurting needlessly…Godhas better for you...getting high will mask the pain only while you are high,it does not take the pain away completely. All it does it make it harder todeal with the life God has called you too. It is time to stop the madness andsee that Jesus loves you! He truly loves you and wants you to live right beforeHim…NO MORE EXCUSES!!

01/11/12 – Good Morning – Stand Firm and Hold On…

GoodMorning and praise the Lord for He is worthy!! It is amazing to be in Hisservice and to know Him. Yesterday was a huge eye opener for me and my walk inthe Lord. He spoke volumes to me about it.

2 Thessalonians2:15-16 (NIV) - So then,brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you,whether by word of mouth or by letter. May our Lord Jesus Christ himself andGod our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement andgood hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed andword.

It is notalways easy to stand during adversity; it is not easy to walk in the Lord whenall those around you are not walking with you in Him. It is not easy at all,BUT when you walk in the Lord, He will send encouragement when you need it.When you walk in the Lord you can be down to your last dollar not knowing howyou are going to take care of your family and then you open your wallet andthere is money in there you had no idea was there, a knock on the door withsome food, and ride to church that you were not counting on.

If you never been without anything, hold on cause the enemy is coming for youwhen you serve the Lord, but what the enemy does not know is that OUR Jesus hasalready made the provisioning for us, all we have to do is stand firm and holdonto His word and believe that He will do just what His word says and that islove and take care of you!!

Itis not always going to mean much to others when you are going through, when youare struggling, when you are ill, when you are homeless, when you are broke,when you are feeling lonely, when you are down and out ready to give up BUTJesus hears your EVERY cry – He knows your EVERY desire and need – AND HE WILLANSWER!!

Oneof the best things I love about the Lord is that no matter what He is alwaysthere. When I am feeling like I cannot take another minute and I go crying outto Him with all my heart and tears – He is right there sending me the comfortthat I need. It is in this we can rest, it is in Him that we can be sure thatall things will work together for our good for we are called according to Hispurpose IF we love Him…when we love Him – we will obey His commandments.
